Scheduling
Please limit your visit to 1-2 of your most concerning issues, and book follow-up visits for any remaining concerns. Walk-in visits are to be limited to one problem only.

Test Reports
We do not discuss test results over the telephone. It is requested to kindly book an appointment to review your test results. You will be called if the results are abnormal, or the physician would like to discuss your results in more detail. Please ensure your contact information is up to date with the reception.

Referrals
If you require the services of other physicians or clinics, our office will arrange the referral for you. You should receive notification of the referral appointment by telephone or mail within 7-10 days. If you do not hear from the clinic within this time frame, please call to ensure arrangements are being made. Please ensure your contact information is up to date. Making referral appointments is a lot of work.

Prescription Refills
We do not offer prescription refills by telephone. Please book an appointment or come as Walk-In if your medication is running low. We do not provide refills for longer than 3 months. For Narcotic and other controlled medication like Tylenol # 3, 4 etc., prescriptions cannot be given for longer than 1 month to our regular patients. No narcotic or controlled medications like Tylenol # 3,4 etc. are prescribed to Walk-In patients. We do not refill prescription fax to us by different pharmacies. Please consult your family physician for the same.

Telephonic Consults
Our physicians do not offer consultations over the telephone. Please book an appointment if you would like to speak to a physician. You can also try calling us for general medical advice at +(403) 590- 4444

Uninsured Services
Not all services provided at the Apex Medical Clinic are covered by Alberta Health and Wellness. You may be charged directly for services such as form completion and notes. We accept both Cash, Debit cards and most of the Credit Cards. Please refer to our list of services and there charges.

Watch Your Behavior
We strive to offer an environment that is comfortable, inviting and respectful for all. Patients are our priority and we try our level best to make your visit pleasant and comfortable. We are completely supportive of our staff and neither the doctor nor management will tolerate any rude or aggressive behaviour. If a patient is rude and/or aggressive they will be told to leave the clinic immediately and the appointment/walk-in visit will be cancelled. In worst cases, 911 will be called and the person responsible will be reported to Police

Confidentiality
We respect your confidentiality. You must provide us with written, witnessed consent form in order to release your medical information to anyone (even a parent, a counselor, or a spouse), unless you are with the person at the time of disclosure.
